The third quarter of 2014 added thirty games and one new player to the roster. Twenty-four games were completed and twenty-three were in progress at the quarter end. Since inception sixty-eight players have started one hundred and ninety-two games, flirting with the two hundred game mark. Comparatively, there were seventy games completed and fifty-five players at this time last year.

After Action Reports
a ‘Winter War’ is a quick-play Squad Leader scenario based on Crescendo of Doom’s ‘The Dead of Winter’. Its 1941 near Staritsa and the Germans must prevent T-34s and accompanying Siberians from punching through their lines. You can read the AAR here.
World Boardgaming Championships
Another year with Squad Leader at WBC in Lancaster, PA. The second year of a game demonstration had a showing of six interested gamers thanks to Pete’s good demonstration. You can see an overview of WBC here, the 2014 Squad Leader program here and, when its posted, the 2014 results here.
