How to log into 1st Roselea Members Area

You must be a parent, committee member, leader, scout, cub or joey to have access to the members area. To authenticate you, we need to rely upon a Google account registered to you.

If you are not logged into a Google account when you attempt to go to the members area you will see a page containing a widget that looks like this:

Don't already have a Google Account?

If you do not already have a Google account you should click on the 'Sign up for Sites' link (or you can start right now by clicking on the link in this paragraph.)

When you click the 'Sign up for Sites' link you will be taken to a page to create a Google Account. You must give it some email address, any email address will do, as long as you have access to read it. You must also enter some data (name, timezone) and enter a random word (a 'captcha' to prove you are a human.)

When you have completed that account creation form, and submitted it, Google will email you with notice that it has created your account, and that email will contain a confirmation link which you must follow (or click on) to finalize your account with Google.

You must reply to any confirmation email Google accounts sends you at this step in the process to complete the account creation. Otherwise, the next step won't work. It may take a minute or two for Google to recognise that you have sent the account confirmation email reply and to finally create the account. (They have to do this step, otherwise anyone could create an account for anyone's email address, which would be a bad thing.)

At the point you have completed the creation process, by replying to the validation email, you will possess a newly created Google account, and you can start the next step (of registering to access the 1st Roselea members area) by going to http://members.1stroselea.org/ and following the instructions below...

Already Have Google Account?

If you have a Google account, you can enter its email and password and hit the 'Sign In' button.

Your Google account must be registered to access 1st Roselea Members Area - If you have never logged into it before, you will see a page which looks like this:

Which tells you 'You need permission to access this item.'

Press the 'Request access' button, and you will then get a page which looks like this:

Which tells you 'Your request for access has been sent.'

At this point, one of your friendly 1st Roselea website membership gnomes will add your google account to the appropriate group, and you will be informed by email that you have access to the member's site. Someone may email you or phone you on a known email address or phone number to verify your identity before processing your account registration.

Then you're done, and can sign in using your Google account and access the 1st Roselea Members area.

From then on, you just need to sign on to your Google account when you want to access our Members Area, so make sure you remember the password.
