Event Description :-

To test the competitor's practical skill, knowledge and accuracy performing specific task of electrical wiring connections, there will be 3 rounds of selection comprises of :

A) FIRST ROUND: One way Switch connection of House wiring

B) SECOND ROUND: Two way Switch connection of House wiring

C) THIRD ROUND: Tube Light connection

So, on the basis of fastest electrical connections by using stopwatch, clean& demonstrate the proper sequence of steps from beginning to completion of assigned tasks, winner would be evaluated. Entrants should have knowledge in AC/DC theory and safe working Practices.

Rules and Regulations :-

1) All equipment would be provided by organizing committee.

2) Demo will be given to each group before the start of the event.

3) There will be 2 or 3 rounds of the selection depending upon the number of groups registered.

4) There will be a time limit of 20 minutes for each round within which they have to do the connection otherwise they would be disqualified.

5) But, selection would be on the basis of fastest connection which would be evaluated by the stopwatch, clean & organized connection, safe use of tools and demonstrate the connection in a proper way.

6) If any short-circuit occur due to faulty connection then the team will be disqualified

7) Competition will be based on the basis of knockout.

8) Certificates will be provided to each participant.

VENUE:- Electrical dept. 2nd Floor.

TIME:- 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Team Size :- Maximum 3 members can participate

Entry Fee :- Rs. 150/- per team

Prize Money :-

Winner :- Rs. 1500 /-

Runner up :- Rs. 1000 /-
