Aakar is an intercollegiate technical event in which participants have to design a bridge deck using ice cream sticks and fevicol as glue. The structure which sustains to the greatest possible load without failure,will be marked as the winner of the competition.

EVENT DESCRIPTION :-

Design a bridge deck using ice cream sticks and fevicol as glue and sustain the greatest conceivable load without failure, fulfilling all the understated constraints.

RULES AND REGULATIONS :-

1. The bridge deck must be of length 900 mm with an allowance of +/- 25 mm.

2. The maximum width of the bridge should be 80 mm with an allowance of +/- 10 mm.

3. The maximum depth of the bridge should be 70 mm with am allowance of +/- 10 mm.

4. Penalty criteria : Penalty of 10% of total score will be deducted for each dimension exceeding the allowance limit. Further Extension in dimension values will lead to direct disqualification.

5. The dead load of the bridge must be less than 1.5 kg.

6. Overlapping length should not be greater than 20 mm.

7. Bring From home.
