Super City Preschool
Nursery to Kindergarten

Quality pre-school education lays a strong foundation for life-long learning and has short and long term benefits for children.
SUPERCITY Pre-School promises to excite, entertain and teach all our early childhood students by combining the knowledge from famous educational researchers and childhood psychologists: Maria Montessori, Reggio Emilia, John Dewey, Jean Piaget and Howard Gardner, among others, using the iTeach concept which is also used in Singapore Pre-schools.
The SUPERCITY Pre-School curriculum focuses on developing students’ knowledge and skills in the following areas:

Primary
Primary 1 to 6
Ages Range: From 6 years old
Entering primary school is the first milestone in your child’s education.

At the end of six years, pupils sit for the Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE)
Secondary
Four years of Secondary Level education
Developing the passion for learning and preparing him/her for further education.

Pupils are encouraged to take part in various activities and community involvement programmes.
Focus on the development of 21st Century Skills
At the end of four years, pupils sit for the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).
After the IGCSEs, students can continue to take the Cambridge International AS and A Levels at our school.
Students have options to further study in USA, UK, Singapore, Australia, China or Canada through our network of colleges and universities.
IGCSE
Cambridge International General Certificate of
Secondary Education

SIS was first accredited by Cambridge International (then Cambridge International Examinations) in 2007 and we are the first approved Cambridge school in Yangon. The IGCSE is an academically rigorous, internationally used, specialised, English language curriculum which is offered to students to prepare them for International Baccalaureate and Cambridge A-Levels (which is recommended for higher tier students). It is based on the GCE O-Level and is recognised as being equivalent to the GCSE. The IGCSE was developed by University of Cambridge International Examinations in 1985.
AS & A LEVELS
Cambridge International General Certificate of Education:
Advanced Level

SIS started our Cambridge International AS and A Level programme in 2017. We are one of the few schools in Yangon with a Cambridge-approved Science Laboratory for the conduct of science practicals during the examinations.
The Cambridge International AS and A Levels are internationally benchmarked qualifications providing excellent preparation for university education and is recognized for entrance into universities across the globe, including in: The United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, China, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Egypt, Jordan, South Africa, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Spain.
