Donny Brown was a founding member and one of the principal songwriters of The Verve Pipe, whose albums have sold in excess of millions worldwide. He also recorded, produced and co-wrote the two highly acclaimed family albums for The Verve Pipe, both of which ended up on iTunes Best Of Year lists. Ann Smart serves as the Educational Technology Consultant for Lenawee ISD and Director of REMC 19W, where she supports educators in innovative teaching and learning practices. Her previous experience includes roles as an EdTech Consultant for Jackson County ISD, Instructional Coach for Adrian Public Schools, and a classroom teacher in Colorado, Washington, and Michigan.
Ann is passionate about educational innovation, STEAM learning, AI and emerging technologies, and student-centered instructional design. She believes every student deserves opportunities to explore, create, collaborate, innovate, and play as part of the learning process every day.
Joe Trommater is a current REMC Director in REMC 5, a former science teacher, STEM consultant, out of school time administrator, and data coordinator. He holds a Bachelor's in Chemistry from Michigan State University and a Master's in Administration from Central Michigan University. He is a blacksmith, wild food forager, technology dumpster diver, and Linux enthusiast. He likes old and new technology as he streams music in his manual transmission Jeep and listens to analog vinyl music.

Katie Roettele is an Assistive Technology and AAC Consultant with Bay-Arenac ISD. An occupational therapist by training with over 14 years of experience supporting individuals across hospital-based care, outpatient pediatrics, and school-based settings. Katie specializes in assistive technology, alternative access, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and inclusive design to support learners with diverse needs. Katie serves as the Michigan Chapter Leader for Makers Making Change, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating affordable, open-source assistive technology solutions. She serves as a MACUL Tech for All Learning Area Delegate and a Michigan POHI SXI Board member. She has also led initiatives focused on inclusive STEM and accessible design using Makey Makey, where she has been featured as an educator demonstrating creative ways to build accessible solutions for learners.

Mark Lyons is the Instructional Technology & STEM Integration Program Director for Saginaw ISD. He also serves as the Region 9 Director of the Regional Educational Media Center (REMC). Mark taught 14 years as a Special Education teacher, and he holds his endorsements in Autism & Emotional Impairment. Mark works as a Chapter Leader for Makers Making Change, the vision at M.M.C. is to achieve economic and social inclusiveness for all people with disabilities.
