About the workshop
This workshop will cover the benefits of playdough play for young children (birth to 6). Being an open-ended and flexible resource, it can be used in many ways. Playdough is great way to get those little hands working and develop fine motor skills preparing children for pre-writing skills. Other than benefiting academic results, playdough play is therapeutic and sensory as children experience texture, color and smell. It enables children to be creative, imaginative, collaborate and communicate when they play in groups. If you want to learn more about this and see some examples of activities and creations, come and join us! You will also learn to cook it yourselves with basic ingredients. This recipe is edible and totally safe to eat (although it doesn’t taste very good..)!
