About the SPEAKER

Werne van der Vyver

(Nursery 1 coordinator and Toddler Homeroom Teacher, Pracha Uthit campus)

Bachelor of Education in Elementary Phase

"I believe that as an educator, it is important to develop the child in a holistic way. Children learn through exploring and, therefore, the use of an inviting outdoor area makes it so exciting. Having had the experience of creating various outdoor setups, I would like to share my expertise on how easy it is to engage children in learning and exploring outdoors. Children are natural inquirers and creative outdoor areas integrate with a child’s physical, cognitive and psychological development."
