Information Processing

Information Processing is an essential course for anyone planning to go on to either college or technical school or even straight into the job market.

In Information Processing you will improve your speed and accuracy in typing and expand your formatting skills to different types and styles of documents. You must take this course to take other courses in the Business area. Please see the course catalog for more information.  You will learn how to format documents like letters, memos, reports and tables. It is important to know how to type these things, because you will type them in many different areas of your life. You may need to write a letter to a school asking for information. You may need to write a letter of application to get a job. Almost all classes at one time or another require you to write a report. These are just a few of the examples of how you will utilize the concepts taught in this course.

In order to save some trees, this course utilizes Moodle for a drop box for assignments.
