Fashion Design

Fashion Design is a full year fine arts course. This course will give you an overview of the fashion design industry. There are a variety of careers in fashion; for example, fashion photographer, stylist, clothing/accessories buyer, illustrator/designer, visual merchandiser, garment production, and textile printing/design to name a few.

Assignments will introduce students to design processes of inspiration mood board compiling, color theory, design innovation, and the 2D and 3D development of creative ideas with some emphasis on machine and hand sewing.

.Students will be exposed to real world applications of how the industry works from concept to completion.
