Rapid React

In RAPID REACT presented by The Boeing Company, two competing alliances are invited to process cargo for transportation. Each alliance is assigned a cargo color (red or blue, based on alliance affiliation) to process by retrieving their assigned cargo and scoring it into the hub. Human players assist the cargo retrieval and scoring efforts from within their terminals. In the final moments of each match, alliance robots race to engage with their hangar to prepare for transport! Each match begins with a 15-second autonomous period, during which time alliance robots operate only on pre-programmed instructions to score points by: Taxiing from their tarmac, retrieving and scoring their assigned cargo into the hub, In the final 2 minutes and 15 seconds of the match, drivers take control of the robots and score points by: Continuing to retrieve and score their assigned cargo into the hub, and engaging with their hangar. The alliance with the highest score at the end of the match wins.

Infinite Recharge

The Infinite Recharge game involves two alliances of three teams each, with each team controlling a robot and performing specific tasks on a field to score points. The game centers around a futuristic city theme involving two alliances consisting of three teams each competing to perform various tasks, including shooting foam balls known as Power Cells into high and low goals to activate a Shield Generator, manipulating a Control Panel to activate this shield, and returning to the Shield Generator to park or climb at the end of the match. The objective is to energize and activate the shield before the match ends and asteroids strike FIRST City, a futuristic city modeled after Star Wars

2018-2019

Deep Space

The 2019 game, FIRST Robotics Deep Space was played on

The FIRST robotics 2019 game was Destination: Deep Space. Alliances of 3 teams each worked to place hatch panels and load cargo into their respective rockets and cargo ship. Hatches were worth 2 points and cargo was worth three points. Within the last 30 second of the match, robots had to either park on a low platform for 3 points, lift themselves up to a 6 inch high platform for 6 points, or climb up to a 18 inch high platform for 12 points. The alliance with the most point at the end of the match won!

2017-2018

Power-Up

The FIRST 2018 game was called Power-Up. The three main points on the game board were the Switch, Scale, and exchange. There are two Switches, one Scale, and two Exchanges. Robots would carry "Power Cubes" to these locations. By placing power cubes onto the Switch or Scale, and into the exchange, teams would earn points. At the end of the match, teams would be able to climb the tower in the center of the board to earn both points and ranking points to further the team's progression in the overall season.

2016-2017

Steamworks

The 2017 game, FIRST Steamworks was played on a field with two airships and two boilers. Robots brought gears to the airship to help spin rotors for 40 points a rotor, while teams could also carry "fuel" to lower parts of the boiler for a point every 9 fuel units, or a point in the high boiler for every 3 fuel units. Robots could choose to collect fuel and gears from the ground or from hoppers and feeders, based on the robot's design. In the final 30 seconds of each round, 1 rope would be dropped for each member of the alliance, and the robots would have to climb the rope for an extra 50 points for each robot that fully climbs the rope. extra points for each task are given during autonomous mode.
