Students are assigned to a full-time faculty advisor for one year. Afterwards, they have the option to switch faculty advisors to suit their academic needs. The PhD Director is also available to assist as needed.
Incoming students are assigned a faculty advisor when they enter the program. They typically stay with that advisor through their coursework.
At the dissertation phase, students choose a Chair and committee members in collaboration with the Chair. Committees have two internal members and at least one external member.
