About the project

Short-term mobility project for school education with a secondary school in Greece. The aim of the project is to improve oral and written communication skills in different languages, digital skills, personal and social skills and, finally, learning Greek history and culture. It is also expected to promote the internationalization of our center and our students, through the acquisition of awareness and knowledge about another country of the European Union with a language and culture very different from ours.

Students from different countries will have the opportunity to collaborate during the project process.

The main objective is to immerse in another educational system and another culture. The final product will be the design of an activity using QR codes in order to know the places of interest in their hometown. 

Apart from that, the project aims to improve students’ foreign language skills and learning to value the use of other languages in a multicultural and multilingual society. Learning and getting to know the history of an important ancient civilization are other objectives to take into account, as well as adapting and participating actively in cultural activities with respect and sensibility. 

As expected results and impact, the benefits of the experience should be grouped at different levels:

Students:

• • Learn and improve communication skills, both orally and written 

  • demonstrate sensitivity towards the cultural heritage of another European country 

  • show healthy habits and appropriate personal skills for coexistence 

  • Develop ICT skills

  • Knowing about the cultural heritage of other European countries will strengthen their feelings as European citizens, and their interest to know more about Europe.

Staff:

• • Acquire European awareness and knowledge 

  • Sharing good practices will improve our daily teaching practices, applying new methodologies and didactic resources.

  • The experience will boost new proposals for interaction and cooperation in the future
