TDE equips translation/exegetical advisors, translation consultants, and advanced mother-tongue translators to do their jobs better and quicker, leading to:

• more accurate and higher quality translations.

• more efficient and faster translations.

• better motivated translation workforce.

TDE is a 7-8 day face-to-face professional development event for translation personnel.  It is not so much aimed for new workers, but for existing workers.  All aspects of the event are designed to increase participants' knowledge and skills.  The focus is on topics that are directly relevant to the everyday work of translation advisors and consultants.  The results of the two TDEs held show strong evidence that TDEs meet the goals of improving quality and speed of Bible translations.

So far, two TDEs have been held:

TDE Eurasia, February 2023, approx 135 participants

TDE Asia, October 2024, approx 210 partipants
