Snack Policy

Please keep in mind that Sigsbee has a health policy. All snacks for the classroom community shuld remain under 10g sugar. This policy is listed in the handbook that each family signed upon admission to Sigsbee.

Healthy Snack Ideas

• Celery & cream cheese or peanut butter

• Cucumber slices & cheese slices

• Triangle sandwich squares with cream cheese & cucumbers

• Plain yogurt with toppings to add such as granola, honey, fresh or dried fruits & nuts

• Corn tortilla chips & guacamole or salsa

• Pretzels with peanut butter or hummus

• Trail mix with dried fruits, and raisins

• Vegetables & dip (carrots, sugar snap peas, celery, cherry tomatoes, sliced peppers, cucumbers)

• Fruit (Cuties/Halos, grapes, berries, bananas, cantaloupe & melon cubes, watermelon slices, apple slices)

• Cottage cheese

• Goldfish

• Cheez-its

• Popcorn & raisins

• Turkey or ham rolls with cheese

• Rice cakes with unsweetened applesauce

• Plain graham crackers with fruit or peanut butter

• Pita chips, whole grain crackers with cheese or hummus or guacamole

• Fruit leather, natural - not fruit roll up
