Hi! I’m Pat Moody. I'm a longtime English teacher, film nerd, and dog lover who somehow ended up back in Key West teaching at the very spot where I spent a glorious month during college in 1982 getting SCUBA certified.
I earned my BA in English from DePauw University, did graduate work at both Indiana and Valparaiso Universities, and served on active duty in the U.S. Army as a medic. Originally from Northwest Indiana near Chicago, I spent most of my adult life living in the dunes next to Indiana Dunes National Park on the southern shore of Lake Michigan. I taught high school English at the same public school there for nearly thirty years.
This is my first year at Sigsbee, and I couldn’t be happier to be here. It’s quite literally a dream come true.
