Alpine Leadership

There are many things that we value in leaders - honesty, clarity, kindness, responsibility, calm.  And where do we expect people to acquire these traits and through what sorts of experience?  Turns out, time spent guiding others in wild contexts is the perfect opportunity!  

In this course, student-guides will learn a plethora of technical climbing skills and knowledge in addition to lasting paradigms, mindsets, and qualities of leadership.  

By their final day at camp, these young people will have gained the confidence to step forward among their peers and to provide guidance across the many wild environments of their futures.
