Dear St. Lucy Families, 

I hope this communication finds you and your family enjoying the summer and staying healthy. It is with great pleasure that I say, ‘Welcome Back to School’ to all of our new and returning students and their families. The 2026-2027 school year starts with our Open House on Monday, August 24th (4pm-6pm) and our first day of school starting on Wednesday, August 26th (7:20am-2:20pm).

Part of our students’ success at St. Lucy Catholic School relies heavily on the support offered both at school and at home.  School success takes commitment and a willingness to do the work.  At St. Lucy, we have a talented staff ready to assist students on their journey of success.  When our students succeed, we all succeed.  We are committed to do what is best for our students.  We will keep you informed, address your concerns and ensure that your child has the tools necessary to be successful.

Our 2026-2027 Parent/Guardian and Student Handbook is currently being updated.  We keep last year's handbook on our website for you to reference until all updates are completed.  In the meantime, attached is our July/August newsletter highlighting some of the important topics in our Parent/Guardian and Student Handbook necessary for your child's(ren's) success.  

There are a lot of important dates and information in this newsletter. Please take time and review this document with your child and talk with them about St. Lucy and specific procedures that allow everyone a year filled with academic achievements and many fun memorable experiences. 

May you continue to enjoy the remaining weeks of summer.  I look forward to a successful year for all our students.
