A Wonderful Beginning at St. Lucy’s
Dear St. Lucy’s Families,
What a wonderful first week it has been at St. Lucy’s Catholic School!
From the moment our students arrived, we wanted them to know just how excited we are to have them here. We literally rolled out the red carpet to welcome our students back to school and to remind them that each and every one of them is valued, loved, and an important part of our St. Lucy’s family.
We also gathered together for our opening assembly, where we set the tone for the year ahead. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a school community, celebrate the gift of a new school year, and remind ourselves of what makes St. Lucy’s such a special place.
Our theme for the beginning of this school year is Kindness, Family, and Community. These three words will guide us as we work together to create a school where every student feels welcomed, supported, respected, and encouraged to grow—not only as a student, but also as a person of faith.
As a Catholic school, we have the tremendous opportunity to walk alongside our children as they learn, discover, serve, and grow closer to Christ. I am excited about all that this year will bring and grateful for the partnership of our families, teachers, staff, and parish community.
The energy, smiles, and enthusiasm I have seen during this first week have been wonderful. It is going to be a great year at St. Lucy’s!
Thank you for entrusting your children to us. Let’s make this a year filled with kindness, strengthened by family, and connected through community.
God bless you and your families, and welcome to a new year at St. Lucy’s!
