Here is the emergency school closing protocol, this is good to know as this applies to when we have to close for bad weather conditions.
Nice to keep a copy of this for quick reference.
Now that school is back in session and everyone is refreshed this is also a great time to refresh some reminders from the handbook.
*Medication prescription or non prescription is not allowed in a child's backpack or locker. If a child needs medication whether it is prescription or non prescription it needs to be kept in the office with a medication slip. Medication slip must be filled out whether it is prescription or non prescription. If you need a slip please let your child's classroom teacher know or the office.
*Attendance must be reported to the Main office by calling 262-554-1801 or emailing Mrs. Schurian at aschurian@sienacatholicschools.org. If you let the teacher know through a Dojo Message that is fine, the teacher will communicate with the office. Vacation absence must be reported to the office. After three consecutive days of being absent due to being sick a doctor's note must be provided. If your child is going to be tardy to school (dropped off after 7:20am) please let the classroom teacher or the office know and please provide a reason for the tardy.
*All visitors coming into the building must come through the office and sign in. If you drop your child off at the drop off doors and would like to come into the building to talk to a staff member, you must check in with the office.
*If your child does not have appropriate winter clothing for outside they will not be allowed to play in the snow. Students must have a jacket to go outside.
If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to ask.
