Your speaking exam will take place just before or just after the Easter holidays. It will be conducted by your usual classroom teacher.
In the exam, you will have 15 minutes preparation time, to write notes for the Role Play, Read Aloud and Photo Card. You will have these notes with you during the exam and you can read from them.

Students are given preparation time and will then be asked to read Spanish sentences aloud. The focus will be on the more tricky sounds (j, ll, g, h, rr, ñ).
This is a Higher Tier example. It gives a text to read aloud, and some follow up questions.
After the read aloud, you will be asked 4 questions in Spanish on the same theme as your read aloud.
Students are given preparation time and will then be asked to describe the two photos. Photos will be in black and white.
Trying to include as much information as possible for each photo will help to ensure you develop your answers well.
After the photocard, your teacher will ask you a series of questions.
You should aim to give 3 pieces of information for each question, to develop your answer, such as details, opinions, descriptions, references to other tenses.
