Expectations

Be Respectful

You are expected to behave respectfully towards everyone around you. This mean that you:

follow instructions without complaint
listen and respond appropriately when you are spoken to
be patient and wait until others are finished to speak
use technology at the appropriate times in the appropriate manner
use appropriate language
take responsibility for your actions, both good and bad, and don't blame others

Be Responsible

You are expected to carry out your responsibilities as a student to the best of your ability. This means that you:

use class time productively
turn in work on time
are prompt beginning class
come to class with the necessary materials
- at least one pen or pencil (paper will be provided for you if you need it)
- a CHARGED Chromebook or a charger (preferably both, just in case)
- your notes
check what you need to complete when you miss class
study in advance (and don't expect to be bailed out when you don't)

Consequences

Consequences for not meeting class expectations may include the following:

Natural consequences (poor grade because you were on your phone instead of taking notes, etc.)
Loss of class activities points
Communication with parents
Office referral
