Dr. Shivani Sharma is currently working as a research associate in Brookhaven National Laboratory, USA. She was a post-doctoral fellow at national high magnetic field lab, Florida state university, Florida, USA since December 2019. She has received DST inspire faculty award in material science in july-2017 and worked as DST inspire faculty at Indian institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal, January 2018 – march 2018. She completed her PH.D. From UGC-DAE consortium for scientific research, Indore in 2017. Her research interest includes material synthesis (polycrystal and single crystal using melt growth, bridgeman, flux growth etc., structural characterization using x-rays, physical properties measurements using PPMS and MPMS, structural characterization using 25 t dc field based XRD setup.
Dr. Subash is working as DST- Inspire faculty at Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences Bengaluru since from October 2021. He completed his Ph.D. (Topic: Piezoelectric polymer nanocomposite for pressure sensor and energy harvesting applications) from the School of Nano Science and Technology, NIT Calicut in 2017 and M.Sc. with gold medal from the same institute in 2011. He worked as an adhoc faculty and in charge of microscopic centre at School of materials science and Engineering, NIT Calicut for 3 years. He has many international publications to his credit. His research interests include materials for energy applications, piezoelectric materials, electrochromic materials, materials for hydrogen evolution and storage, ferroelectric, piezoelectric and contact electrification-based devices for sensors and energy harvesting, polymer nanocomposites, nanomaterials synthesis and microscopic analysis for nanotechnology. Apart from the research activities he is an active resource person and teacher mentor for various science and technology classes and events organized by different schools and colleges.
Dr. Uvais Valiyaneerilakkal is working as Assistant Professor at Department of Physics, Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) Rajasthan. He is also appointed as Assistant Director, Directorate of Research, Manipal University Jaipur. Prior to this, he worked with School of Materials Science and Engineering, NIT Calicut as Assistant Professor and with IIT Bombay as Research Scientist. Dr. Uvais received his Ph.D. from School of Material Science and Engineering, NIT Calicut and M.Sc. in Physics from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU). He got trained in Atomic Force Microscopy and its various modes from Park Systems, Korea. Also has 8 years of hands-on experience in handling AFM, FESEM, EFM, MFM, STM and I-AFM
Dr. Pradeep Reddy Vanga is working as an Assistant Professor in Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai in School of Science and Humanities since 2017. He completed his M.Sc. from Pondicherry University and Ph.D. From NIT Trichy. He is having more than 15 research articles in the international peer reviewed journals. His research work is focused on multiferroics and photocatalysis.
Dr. Suhail Majid is currently working as a National Postdoc Fellow (NPDF) at Department of Physics NIT, Srinagar. He completed his M.Sc from University of Kashmir and Ph.D. from Aligarh Muslim University in joint collaboration with UGC-DAE CSR, Indore. In his Ph.D. he studied the electronic structure of novel material oxide based thin films using synchrotron sources at RRCAT and DSEY, Germany. He did his postdoctoral research from Academia Sinica, Taiwan, where he worked in the area High pressure ultrafast Physics to explore the dynamics of materials at high pressure and on ultrafast time scale.
Dr. Suhail has worked in the field of experimental Condensed Matter Phyisics, studied novel materials meant for both the physics understanding and technological applications. He has worked on different transport, optical and spectroscopic techniques during his tenure of research. He has several publications in the international journals like Phys. Rev. B. Moreover, he is a well-versed professional in XPS.
Dr. Dhanabal is working as CSIR Research Associate in Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Hyderabad since January 2021. His work is focused on ‘Investigations on the hole transport and MAPbI3 perovskites absorber materials for an efficient and stable PSCs devices’. He worked as an adhoc faculty in the Department of Physics, Central University of Tamil Nadu during 2019 -2020. He completed his Ph.D. from NIT Trichy in 2019 and M.Sc. From Bharathidasan University, Tamil Nadu in 2012. His research interest includes ‘Development of advanced novel nanostructured semiconductor materials; energy conversion & storage applications [Photovoltaic perovskites solar cells, electrochemical-supercapacitors and photocatalytic/electrocatalytic applications]’.
