All students with an Individualized Education Program (IEP) attending or planning to attend a private school within the South Huntington Union Free School District (SHUFSD) must submit the required documentation no later than June 1, 2026. (Under N.Y. Edn. Law §3602-c, parents who place a child with a disability in a private or parochial school must submit a written request for special education services to the school district where the private school is located by June 1st before the upcoming school year.)
Important Notice for Applicants to St. Anthony’s High School:
This requirement applies to any classified student who has applied, intends to apply, or is currently on the waitlist for St. Anthony’s. If a student is accepted after June 1, 2026, but the mandatory paperwork was not submitted prior to the deadline, the student will not have an active IEP or Individualized Education Services Program (IESP) for the 2026–2027 school year, and no accommodations or services will be provided. Strict adherence to this deadline is required with no exceptions.
Step 1: Complete Online Documentation

Parentally Placed CSE Registration Form 2026/2027

Registration is considered incomplete until all three forms are received in full by the June 1 deadline.
Step 2: Confirmation & Verification
Upon receipt of all three completed forms, you will receive an official confirmation via email from Patti McArdle (pmcardle@shufsd.org).
