NYSSLS Life Science: Biology
The New York State Science Learning Standards (NYSSLS) are designed to engage students in critical thinking, and use their knowledge of biology to perform the routine tasks of a scientist. This includes, but is not limited to:
Asking questions
Constructing explanations using evidence
Planning and conducting investigations
Designing and proposing solutions
As of this year, The NYS Board of Regents has changed the biology Regents exams to align with this set of academic standards.
All NYS high schools will now be required to administer this new exam, and that's where I step in -- I am here to help you prepare as much as possible! Here's how I will do that...
