Meteorology is the study of Earth’s atmosphere, weather phenomena, and climate. Throughout this full year course , which meets every other day , we will learn how to analyze weather patterns, predict weather using meteorological tools, investigate the impact of weather and climate on the environment and human activities, and develop critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills through data analysis and interpretation.
Although complex scientific material and mathematics will be discussed, the course will mainly focus on basic atmospheric observations that will excite and amaze. Through this framework, all students, regardless of scientific background, should have an enjoyable, successful experience.
