Volleyball is a co - ed sport that also is considered a lifetime sport too . The students will be introduced to the skills of serving, forearm pass ( bump) , setting and team rotation. The skill of " communication " will be reinforced by class room teacher to emphasize teamwork and use your 3 hits on one side. Volleyball rules and scoring of the game will also be reviewed for student knowledge. The unit will end with a volleyball tournament that students can play two games each class period and display their skills and knowledge of the game. Students can go on You Tube and put the words volleyball skills in for the search and watch videos on that skill.
