Emergency Rent/Utility Assistance-(ERAP) (click link to apply)
The Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP) was created to help renters dealing with financial challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic. For eligible households, the program offers rental and utility assistance to help Pennsylvanians avoid eviction or loss of utility service.
ERAP helps tenant households with paying rent, past-due rent balances (also known as arrears), utility and home energy costs, utility and home energy cost arrears, and other expenses related to housing detailed below. Rent expenses include rent, rent arrears, rental costs for trailers and trailer lots, and may include long-term housing hotels, motels, and boarding homes. Utilities include separately stated electricity, gas, water, sewer, trash removal and energy costs, such as fuel oil. Other expenses related to housing include but are not limited to relocation expenses, rental fees, reasonable late fees, internet services for work, home schooling, telemedicine, etc.

The Salvation Army helps to coordinate with UGI’s Customer Assistance Program to give qualified low income customers help with their monthly energy bills. The criteria requires applicants to be at or below 150 percent of the Federal Poverty Level. For more info, click here.
Energy provider PPL has announced they will not cut off service to any customers for unpaid bills until further notice and will reconnect service to any recently disconnected customers. For more information click: visit their website.
PA Unemployment

Approved Child Care Centers for Essential Employees
There are Child Care Center Approved to operate during the COVID-19 public health emergency. If you work in a life-sustaining position, these providers may be able to help you and your family if you need child care. Please note that this list may change. The list is being updated as much as possible but providers listed may make the decision to close at any time. They encourage all personnel in life-sustaining positions to make a back-up plan for child care should their provider decide to close.

Immigration and Refugee Resource
Catholic Charities works with state and federal governments to resettle refugees, helping them adjust to new lives and newfound freedom. They teach individuals with limited English to become economically and socially self-sufficient in their new homeland. Services are offered at no cost to the client. Each applicant’s situation is evaluated individually.
