I have always had a passion for Language because of the opportunities they provide. It's clear that English isn't enough and knowing a second language enables you to communicate with people from all across the world.
Languages have given me the opportunity to make lots of new friends and to explore different parts of the world. I lived in France for two year; once in Chalon-sur-Saône and once in Paris. Both were incredible experience and wouldn't have been possible without Languages
I speak French & Spanish but whenever I travel to a country, I always like to learn some words and phrases. I have been able to communicate in Sweden, Italy, Switzerland and many more!
I love languages because they open the door to better communication with people from other countries and other cultures. Without communication and collaboration the world would be a much less interesting place. There are so many interesting people out there and they definitely don’t all speak English Languages have helped me make friends with lots of new people.
Speaking languages has given me the confidence to do things that I never thought I would do when I became a teacher – including the opportunity to travel all around Europe to plan special projects for students.
Although not fluent in all of them, I have at least a few words in these languages; French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Japanese. I can also say “cheers” in Swedish, Finnish and Hungarian!
