- hanging indent (1st line at 1 inch margin, 2+ lines indented 1/2 inch)
- centered title (Works Cited or Annotated Bibliography) under heading (NO bold, underline, etc.)
Formating
- Main Titles: Italicize "big titles” like a Book, Database, Web site, Magazine, Newspaper title (do not underline)
- Tiles are Capitalized
- Article title are in: “Quotation Marks”
- Dates: Day Month (abbreviated) Year:10 Dec. 2001

Author: Last, First; for 3+ Authors: list 1st author followed by the phrase: et al,
- "Author" means person responsible for producing source, including editor or translator or director (incl. special title)
Title of source: first letters capitalized (except articles like a, an); since it is a part of the "larger" source (called a "container"), enclose within quotation marks.
- Example: "Web Page." "Chapter in a Book." "Song" on an Album."
- IF there is no "Smaller" part, then skip this section.
Title of container: container is where the source "lives." Is the source a part of a whole like the page on a Web site or a chapter in a book? The "whole" is the container. Put in italics.

Number: Volume and Issue number written as vol. 72, no. 6 (not 72.6)
