About Me

Greetings!  My name is Monica Potter and I am the Middle School Counselor here at Seven Hills.  This is my 3rd year working as a School Counselor here at Seven Hills, and my 16th year overall as a School Counselor.  I enjoy the caring, collaborative community here at Seven Hills.  

 I grew up in a small town in Northwestern Wisconsin.  I graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Psychology from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA, and my M.S.E. in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin- Superior in 2007. 

As your counselor, my goal is to support the academic success of all students.  I work with students to assist them with academic, career, personal, social, and emotional concerns.  I also work with students and families to support students in any way ranging from behavior concerns, communicating with outside therapists and agencies, and successfully transitioning our students on to high school and beyond.
