Latin II

Latin II Goals:

As a Latin II student, we will start to work through the finer mechanics of Latin. They will expand on the knowledge they gained in Latin I or through their elementary education. They will not only be able to recognize words and nouns, but will gain a greater understanding in how to build the meaning of a Latin sentence. We will be working with the Cambridge Latin Reader I.

Should a student be done with Latin after Latin II at Seven Hills, they should have a grasp on English derivatives and an understanding of syntax and grammar. Their education in Latin should give them a solid base to take another Romance language such as French, Italian, or Spanish.
