Pre-Kindergarten

Our Purpose:

 Sacred Heart Catholic School exists to teach and establish Catholic values for our students, staff, and those with whom we come in contact. We believe early childhood education is fundamental to the development of a child's character, integrity, relationships with others, and faith in God. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere where our students are challenged and encouraged.

 Educational Philosophy:

 Our education philosophy recognizes the value of learning for today and tomorrow. We believe each child is unique, with their own gifts and abilities. Our goal is to engage both the hearts and minds of each student through creative teaching and hands-on opportunities. We make it a priority to provide an exciting and creative atmosphere where our students can become lifelong learners, as well as develop into young men and women of character and integrity.

• Adaptive, competency-based curriculum.

• Colorful, creative and enriching classroom environment in an elementary school setting.

• Daily class 7:50-10:45AM or 7:50-3:30PM

• Our Pre-K students receive expansive academic preparation, more than what may be available in a traditional

two or three day program, as well as many opportunities to practice social and behavioral skills.

• Convenient morning drop-off as early as 7:30AM.

• Parental involvement and participation is always welcome.

• Calendar mirrors the regular Sacred Heart School schedule, including snow days and holidays.
