Do you get at least 8 hours of sleep? Well you should, if you don’t I mean you must be tired, right? An experiment was done and apparently if you don’t sleep for about two weeks you most likely will not survive. Sleep helps your brain kinda just… relax. Now hopefully you knew before you read this that obviously YOU SHOULD SLEEP, so why don’t the teachers let us have nap time, unless you are in kindergarten?
If you ask me, I don’t think it's fair. First grade through sixth grade, mainly just the older grades, don’t really get much sleep most nights because some people have a lot of activities and homework.
In China and other parts of Asia, and in some parts of Europe, there are specific times to have naps, isn’t that cool? In my opinion I think we should have nap times, even just 30 minutes would be great, just at least some time. We are still kids whose brains are still developing. It would be a lot better if we could rest our brains and we would get a break!
Also if you don’t get enough sleep you might fall asleep in class.
PROS OF SLEEPING!
If you take a nap for even just 30 minutes, it could improve your memory! Sleeping for 30 minutes allows the person sleeping to boost alertness. Also you probably won’t find yourself dozing off in class. Also it helps rejuvenate the brain! And develops your brain too! That’s nice! But if you are a kid you might want to get at least 12 or so hours of sleep.
