Favorite Activities to Play in the Winter!
By Sloane and Felicity
As we all know the seasons are changing and the temperature around us is getting colder so we found it a great idea to give you some ideas of fun activities to do in the winter, outdoors and indoors! If you didn't know, the most popular outdoor sport/game to play in the winter is skiing and snowboarding, so if you want to do something fun this winter we would recommend that!
A fun indoor winter activity to do is make paper snowflakes. All you have to do is fold the paper in half, make a design that fits you, cut out the design (you’ll need scissors to do this), unfold and tie a string to the top and hang it up as a festive winter decoration!
They say in the 1880s - 1960s that people also skated, sled and skied to do something fun and get a good source of exercise throughout the snowy winter. Even though skiing and snowboarding are the most popular doesn't mean there aren’t any other games to play, so if you keep reading you’ll hear some students' favorites too!
Anna in Mr. Pandya's class says that her favorite activity to do in the snow is having a snowball fight because you get to play with a lot of different people.
Max in Mac 3 says that his favorite activity to do in the winter is skiing because you can ski anywhere and you can embrace the wild.
Alice from Mac 3 says that her favorite thing to do in the snow is skiing because it's exciting.
