Coach Ryan Kulat takes over the helm after a very successful run from Coach Wishart over the past 9 years.  The Shore Regional Girls Basketball Program has won 3 Central Jersey Group 1 Championships during his tenure and been to multiple others.  Coach Kulat comes to Shore knowing the high standard of excellence and level of success this program has built and is excited to continue and grow that high standard.

Coach Kulat is a graduate of Red Bank Regional (2004) and Kean University (2011).  After attending Susquehanna University to play basketball for his freshman year, a career ending injury brought him home to recover.  He then began coaching at RBR doing film breakdown, scouting, and more behind the scenes efforts.  In 2007, he was hired on staff to be an assistant coach and was part of the staff until 2022.  During 2022-23, as the varsity assistant at Ocean Township, the Spartans won their first division title in over 50 years.  The following season, Coach Kulat moved to the girls side to help the Lady Spartans reach the Central Jersey Group 3 finals in year one.

With 20 years of coaching experience, Coach Kulat will bring in a high level of basketball IQ, a commitment to grow and develop both the individual players and the team, create a culture that values discipline, teamwork, and a commitment to achieving excellence, and foster a relationship with the community to grow the Shore Regional Family.  "Shore Regional is a special place because of it's tight knit community.  Having multiple towns come together does come with its challenges, but it also is what brings us together and makes us stronger."

During the off season, Coach Kulat enjoys playing golf, going to the beach, any type of live music, and spending time with his family and friends.

Troy Madison is a dedicated educator and coach, with a passion for shaping young minds both in the classroom and on the field. Graduating from Shore Regional '99, Troy continued his academic journey at Bryant University. After earning his degree, he embarked on a fulfilling career in education, teaching Health and Physical Education at Manchester Township High School. Notably, Troy holds the position of head coach for girls lacrosse at Shore Regional, where he imparts his knowledge and leadership to aspiring athletes. Prior to his current role, Troy served as the head coach at Red Bank Catholic High School Lacrosse, further solidifying his reputation as a skilled and respected mentor in the lacrosse community. Residing in Oceanport, Troy remains deeply committed to fostering academic and athletic excellence among his students and players, leaving a lasting impact on the communities he serves.

Coach Emily is a Shore Regional alumni, graduating in 2015. While at Shore Regional, she was a four year varsity starter for basketball and lacrosse, as well as captain of both teams her senior year.  She continued her academic career following graduation at the United States Military Academy at West Point before transferring to Rutgers University.  Coach Emily received her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Education from Rutgers University.  In addition to basketball, Emily is also a coach for the Girls Lacrosse program.  Outside of coaching, she enjoys supporting her students and players in their extracurricular activities, working out, spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and going on hikes.  Her goals as a coach is to instill coach ability, competitiveness, confidence, commitment and a heightened sense of character and sportsmanship that her athletes can utilize on and off the court.
