Parents/Carers

As parents and carers of the students of COLASP, we want you to feel well supported and have confidence in us supporting your children. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of your children.

Our priority is your child's welfare and we are required to take any reasonable action to ensure the safety of our pupils. There may be occasions when we have reason to be concerned that a child may be subject to ill-treatment, neglect or other forms of abuse. In this instance, we will discuss with you as parents/carers, unless we have reason to believe that this action would be contrary to the child's welfare. In this case, we would be obliged to follow the Child Protection procedures. We would often seek advice from the Hackney MASH to ensure that our response is accurate.
