How are you doing with your 10+ hours of commitment to volunteer at CM? Have you been supporting us in our different community projects this year? Were you a Natural Playground Ambassador? Donated items to the Food Pantry?
We are grateful for your support and partnership as always! Please remember that these contributions go towards meeting the volunteer hours that you committed during enrollment. If you did any of those or helped us in any other way, please remember to log your volunteer hours!

Volunteering with the Food Pantry can mean providing on campus support with the option to make a donation if you are able.
Some tasks you might perform while volunteering:
Visiting the Food Pantry for approximately 1 hour during your chosen weekend
Assessing inventory for expired or spoiled food items
Noting inventory and/or maintenance updates in the Follow Up Form

Looking for a fun, easy way to honor your volunteer commitment?
Natural Playground Volunteer Sign-Up
The Natural Playground - the only one of its kind in our area - is a favorite for our learners! It is very loved, daily, and this shows!
Volunteers are depended on each weekend (at any time, on either weekend day, for about 1 hour) to help us keep it beautiful!
What does a Natural Playground Ambassador do?
Spending about 1 hour (any hour - your choice!) on the playground (fun!)
Weekend only - Saturday or Sunday, any time - it's your choice!
Picking up trash and belongings (hats, jackets, water bottles, etc)
Watering trees and other plant life (as needed)
Sweeping all the components back to their homes (sand, mulch, rocks, etc)
(Sometimes) moving sprinkler chains around to help water grass seed
Bringing your kids/teens and letting them help (learners love having ownership of this space by caring for it!), and, of course, letting them play (yes, even teenagers need to play outside ;)!
After you sign up, you'll receive an email 1-2 days before your selected weekend with all the details about the playground, some tasks to perform, and how to follow up when you're finished.
