Introducing ParentSquare: Our New Family Communication Platform
Last week, we introduced our new communication platform!
By now, you should have received an email invitation from ParentSquare to activate your account (the subject line reads: Community Montessori invites you to join ParentSquare). In order to continue receiving timely communications, it is important to activate and log in to your account.
If you don't have your email invitation, you can go to ParentSquare.com, enter the email address you've shared with the school, and follow the prompts on the right side of the screen.
You can find more information about ParentSquare in our introduction email.

Volunteering with the Food Pantry can mean providing on campus support with the option to make a donation if you are able.
If you're not able to volunteer, consider making a donation or placing an order from the Amazon Wishlist.
Please Note: The Food Pantry is for consumables only! We are unable to accept donations of clothing or home goods.
The food pantry is open Monday - Friday, from 9am to 4pm.
Please note: If the school campus is closed (due to weather, or a holiday, etc.), we will make efforts to open it during these times, however the food pantry may also be closed.
Donation bins are located at the main entrance of the school for convenient drop-offs. These will be outside from 8am to 8pm, Monday through Friday.
LEAN IN - FOSTERING INDEPENDENCE
LET GROW & OUR WELLNESS INITIATIVE
As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering independence and resilience in our learners, we are excited to reintroduce the Let Grow program as a component of our Wellness Initiative. This program emphasizes the importance of allowing children and teens the space to navigate challenges independently, ultimately helping them develop critical life skills.
This is in addition to our new Teen Mental Health and Wellness Initiative (click here to see all the details) that includes updates to our school-wide electronics etiquette policy.
GREAT RESOURCES FOR OUR FAMILIES!
Just as our campus is truly unique, so is our language. At Community Montessori, we use more than a few unique terms in place of what you might hear at other schools.
You can use this helpful CM Glossary to learn the lingo and feel more at home!
The Family Handbook for the coming school year is now available. It is full of helpful information and answers to most of the questions you may have, from the philosophy of our school to level and age-specific information, to car line and program times - everything you need to know is all in one convenient place! Families are encouraged to familiarize themselves with at least the information that pertains to their learner's level/age group.
