Classroom Tour

My goal as a teacher is to help children foster a love for learning at an early age.  Here in our enchanted forest themed classroom, students are learning in an atmosphere that is intended to evoke creativity and provide calmness. It is a student-centered classroom, where students are provided the tools necessary to create meaningful projects that integrate third grade curriculum standards.  Our cozy learning environment also fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive learning goals of each child.  Every student has a removable personalized office space, furnished with pictures from home.  There are six collaboration tables, designed to invite children to work with different peers. Our classroom library provides content-rich and high-interest reading material to children of various reading levels.  Our classroom tent is a place to retreat to when needing a calm down space. And the giant round rug is where our instruction takes place, as well as class meetings. Thank you for stopping by!
