Students in Creative Writing classes are eligible to win the following awards at the end of the trimester.

• Publication Award–For any piece that has been published in a selective publication or won a competition beyond the school during the past year.

• Student Choice Award–By vote of students in the class(es) of this trimester.

• Teacher Choice Award–For the pieces that have most impressed the teacher in each class period.

• Prolific Producer Award–For students who have created the largest volume of work during the trimester. (This does not affect word limits for class assignments.)

• Genre Crosser Award–For writers who have excelled in various kinds of prose and poetry.
