Senior Electronics Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits using Altium Designer

• Develop embedded hardware around STM32 and other ARM-based microcontrollers

• Design power supply circuits, including DC-DC converters and LDO regulators

• Independently assemble and hand-solder prototypes (SMD and through-hole)

• Bring-up, test, and debug custom hardware

• Work closely with firmware engineers on MCU integration and peripheral configuration

• Prepare production-ready documentation and assist with certification (e.g., CE, FCC)

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in embedded electronics hardware design

• Hands-on experience with STM32 or similar ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers

• Knowledge of communication interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB

• Basic knowledge of C/C++ for firmware-level bring-up and testing

• Strong proficiency in Altium Designer (schematic, PCB layout, design rules)

• Solid understanding of digital and mixed-signal design principles

• Ability to independently build and test functional hardware prototypes

• Familiarity with lab tools: oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer, bench power supply

Nice to Have

• Experience with FPGA-based systems (Xilinx, Lattice, Intel/Altera)

• Experience performing DDR3/DDR4 signal integrity simulations using tools such as HyperLynx, Sigrity, or ADS.

• Familiarity with automated constraint management and high-speed routing workflows in Altium Designer or similar EDA tools

• Understanding of low-power design techniques for battery-powered devices

• Exposure to certification processes (EMC/ESD, CE, FCC)

• Experience with wireless modules (LoRa, BLE, Wi-Fi) as peripherals
