To graduate and receive a diploma in Oregon state, a student must complete all graduation requirements for the issued diploma.
Standard Diploma
Credit Requirements:
4 Credits in Language Arts
3 Credits in Math, at the Algebra 1 Level or Above
3 Credits in Science
3 Credits in Social Sciences
For the class of 2026 and beyond, this must include 0.5 credits of Civics/Government
1 Credit in Physical Education
1 Credit in Health
3 Credits in CTE, Second Language, and the Arts
6 Credits in Electives
Essential Skills*:
Math: Apply mathematics in a variety of settings
Reading: Read and comprehend a variety of texts
Writing: Write clearly and accurately
