Bugsy Malone

Bugsy Malone isn’t the smartest guy in Chicago, but he spends his days doing ‘this and that’ to make a quick buck, and trying to score a date with his sweetheart Blousey Brown. But the city is rife with gang warfare, and every day the news reports on another splurge attack from Dandy Dan’s gang of hoods. Before long, Bugsy finds himself caught up in this crossfire between Dan and his bumbling rival Fat Sam - and trying to avoid his old flame, the glamorous Tallulah.

Originally a 1976 film, Bugsy Malone was performed at the Haymarket Theatre, Basingstoke, on 10th-11th March 2022. The show was starred and was managed and produced by the students of Sherfield School.
