The Shenendehowa Educational Foundation (“Shen Foundation”) was established in 2005 by a group of area residents as an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization that would raise and distribute funds for the educational enrichment and innovation beyond the basic operational needs of our school district.

From the beginning, the Foundation has supported both the academic and experiential activities to benefit Shen students, while continually exploring better ways to bring the community and alumni together to celebrate this great local institution.

To date, the Shen Foundation has successfully raised nearly half a million dollars – principally through our annual Green & White spring gala – we have funded grants across all grade levels and touched every academic area.

We remain committed to reaching out to staff and the community to encourage new and creative ways of enriching student learning and fostering true community.
