As a retiree of the District and eligible for enrollment in the District's insurance in retirement, you will find important information/resources pertaining to insurance rates, Open Enrollment for Retirees, Medicare eligibility, and other updates that you may find helpful post-retirement.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RETIREE ENROLLED IN CDPHP effective 1/1/2025:
As we informed you during open enrollment, all CDPHP EPO & PPO enrollees during open enrollment will all be receiving new ID cards with a new Group number and a new ID number. Most of you will receive your ID card before the first of the year. However, in case you do not, see below CDPHP Member Portal Flyer that explains how you can register for the CDPHP portal and get a copy of your ID card. Please note, your Providers office can always call CDPHP to verify coverage.

Contact the Social Security Administration (SSA) to enroll in Medicare three months before your birthday month. Visit https://www.ssa.gov/onlineservices or call 1-800-772-1213.
Enroll in Medicare Parts A and B (be sure not to decline Part B).
