NYSPHSAA posts a chart showing future start dates as well as future championship dates on their website (click championships and then 7 year calendar). 

Important INFORMATION for the

SPRING 2026 Season

Season Start Dates:

• Tryouts for all Varsity, JV and Freshman teams will begin on Monday, March 9, 2026. All tryouts for Modified teams will begin on Monday, March 23, 2026.

• Family ID/Arbiter opens up for medical clearance on Monday, February 9, 2026.

• Family ID/Arbiter  closes on Friday, March 6 for Varsity, JV and Freshman teams and on Friday, March 20 for Modified teams.

• Private Physicals must be dated on or after March 1, 2025 to be eligible for medical clearance.. The required NYS physical form can be found here. 

• APP Testing (recommended 7th and 8th graders only) will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in the Gowana Green Gym right after school (3:45p). Students should bring signed parent permission and score forms from this webpage with them to testing.
