About Me

I'm currently reading Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo.

Hi there! I'm Mrs. Williams and I teach 10th grade English Language Arts. I spent my undergrad years at Auburn University and obtained two master's degrees: one from the University of West Alabama and one from the University of Montevallo. When you walk in my classroom you will notice a lively and colorful room centered on the students' active learning (not to mention stacks and bookcases filled with a variety of books at the kids' disposal).

I know most students don't believe I have a life outside of the school, but I do. Below you'll find pictures of my little family. You can probably spot me at Hobby Lobby purchasing items for my next craft, at Taco Bell chowing down, at Lowe's with my husband, on the volleyball court, or walking my dogs in my neighborhood. You may even recognize me from around the community since I actually grew up right here in Chelsea! I graduated from both the middle and high school so I am on very familiar grounds.

Once a hornet, always a hornet.
