My name is Shanda Smiley and I will be your child’s teacher as he or she embarks on their journey through middle school. This is my fifth year teaching at Calera Middle School. I graduated from The University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Collaborative Education. I am married and I have a 2 year old daughter named Halle Beth. I enjoy going to the beach and painting in my free time. I am thrilled that I have been given the opportunity to get to know all of you and your child better. It is going to be a great year!
