Before School Care
Shelbyville Central Schools offers before school care "Bear Care" beginning at 6:40am with 2, 3, and 5 day options. Information and registration for before school care can be found below or you can pick up an enrollment form in the office.
Before school care is on a first come, first serve basis. We have a limited number of spots available.
Golden Bear Care is a before school care program offered to all students who need care prior to the start of their school day. Below you will see program options for before school care. Bear Care students can be dropped off anytime after 6:40am. Parents/guardians must walk their child to the classroom and check them in daily.
Golden Bear Care will open at 7:00am on 2 hour delays unless school is canceled.
Program Options
4-5 days = $54 / month
3 days = $32 / month
1-2 days = $22 / month
**Payments are divided by 10 months to make each month the same amount.
Payments are due the month prior to attending. Payments for Golden Bear Care CAN be combined with preschool tuition payments. Please specify on your check memo how much towards tuition and Bear Care.
We accept cash, checks, or money orders. Cash payments will need to be made at the Golden Bear Preschool office. Check or money orders can be mailed to the Preschool at:

If your balance is not paid in full prior to each month, we have the right to deny your child before school care until the full amount is paid. Payment is required whether your child is present or not for the selected days.
