1. Create a matterport account

Go to buy.matterport.com and click Get Started Free. Register with your university email address. (With a free plan, you can have one Active Space at a time)

Once you have created an account, contact The Media Unit via email and request an invite to the Schools Matterport account

2. Make a booking for the Matterport Scanner Pro 2 using The Media Unit Equipment Booking Form

3. Download and Install the Matterport Scanning Application

Supported Apple iPad or iPhone or supported Android device

4. Set the tripod to five feet high (1.5 meters) 

Attach the quick-release clamp

5. Slide the Pro2 camera into the clamp

Check that the clamp is securely fastened to the tripod

6. Power on the camera

Wait for the WiFi light on the back of the camera to begin blinking

7. Connect your camera to your device 

• Tap Settings.

• Tap WiFi. 

• Select your camera's network to connect your camera.

8. Check your camera and device are connected 

Open the Matterport app to verify 

9. Tap the + button to start a new scan!
